Construction / Restoration Operations Field Manager A rapidly expanding service‑based company is seeking an experienced Manager to oversee and coordinate our damage mitigation operations. This leadership position operates in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment where your expertise will be essential in driving operational efficiency, ensuring top‑tier service delivery, and fostering the growth and success of your team. Position Overview The Mitigation Manager will be responsible for supervising and guiding a team of technicians in responding to property damage caused by water or mold. This role requires a proven ability to manage operations efficiently, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintain excellent customer relations. A strong knowledge of construction practices, and jobsite safety protocols is essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail‑oriented, and highly skilled in both technical and leadership aspects of mitigation work.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and coach the mitigation team to ensure top‑tier performance and customer satisfaction.
Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion.
Actively participate in on‑site inspections, ensuring proper construction methods are applied.
Develop and implement workflow processes that maximize efficiency while upholding safety and quality standards.
Monitor job progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure that all work meets established timelines and customer expectations.
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
Collaborate closely with other department managers to coordinate resources and maintain seamless job execution.
Provide ongoing performance evaluations and feedback to team members.
Oversee inventory control and ensure equipment is properly maintained and available.
Be available for operational support during emergencies, including after‑hours when needed.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other jobsite safety regulations.
Read and interpret construction plans, scopes of work, and project documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
2–5 years of management experience in construction, or a related field.
Prior experience in the mitigation and restoration industry is preferred.
Hands‑on construction experience strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, job costing, and resource allocation.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
