The Quality Control Technician is responsible for the inspection, assessment, verification, testing, and documentation of process and product quality on all goods, incoming goods, and in-process used in the manufacture of our product and finished goods to the customer and acceptability thereof. Included in these duties are instrument calibration and documentation. Duties and Responsibilities

Perform inspections and qualify control tests to ensure quality standards and adherence to specifications Understand and follow the plant’s OHSE and quality systems to maintain a safe workplace and ensure quality product Inspect and test incoming raw materials Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with customer’s specifications Maintain appropriate records of tests, inspection results, and observations Notify production personnel of deviations in product quality; mark deviant products appropriately Assist with set‑up and clean‑up of all presses when machine is down Help site meet quality objectives Use several software systems (Quality Data Results, Inventory, Documentation, Audits, Training, etc.) frequently and navigate them efficiently Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; some continued education preferred (e.g., Chemistry background) 1‑3 years of quality control experience preferred Good oral and written communication skills Ability to use gauges and calipers Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and legibly complete time cards and work orders. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and read blueprints and technical drawings, such as machine, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Physical Demands & Work Environment

Physical demands include standing, walking, talking, hearing, and use of hands, fingers, and arms. Frequently required: lift up to 10 pounds, often up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus. Work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, high places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, outdoor conditions, extreme heat, moderate noise level.
