This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $18.75 to $21.75 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $47,100 and $62,600 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately select and place flooring product orders on pallets, then shrink-wrap each pallet to ensure secure handling of heavy materials. Read shipping orders to determine the quantity and type of transportation needed. Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents and maintain related data. Collect documentation for outbound freight and route it to the appropriate record‑keeping unit. Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise. Schedule inbound and outbound freight to align with warehouse operations. Contact carrier representatives to arrange and provide instructions for loading products. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment. Keep an equipment checklist and perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Perform additional duties as required or requested. Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required. One (1) year of warehouse experience required. Forklift experience is a plus. Proficiency with a tablet or iPad. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure. Physical Demands
