About The Opportunity

Under the direction of the Leave of Absence Manager, the Leave of Absence Resource administers employee leaves of absence for Ensign Services, Inc. and affiliated companies, including Federal (FMLA), State (CFRA, CA PDL, WAPFML, etc.), Military Leave (USERRA), and company‑provided leaves. The role ensures timely and accurate communication among employees, Human Resources, and Managers. Responsibilities

Enter all leave cases timely and accurately in HRIS and Leave Management systems. Handle interactions with employees, Human Resources, and managers via phone calls and emails regarding leave programs, processes, procedures, and communications. Track and conduct necessary follow‑up on all LOA inquiries from request to employee return. Prepare and send LOA communications, including notices and forms in compliance with FMLA or state requirements; track leave documentation and follow up on insufficient information. Manage help desk tickets for leave requests, inquiries, and returns. Provide guidance in interpreting leave policies. Advise managers, HR/Payroll representatives, and HR Resources on potential leave issues and provide recommendations. Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality. Perform other duties assigned to support the efficient operation of the department. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or equivalent experience. Certified Leave Management Specialist designation is a plus. At least 2 years of experience in leave of absence administration or Human Resources. Experience administering FMLA, military, pregnancy disability, medical, and personal leaves. Knowledge of FMLA and ADA requirements. Ability to analyze information and develop a comprehensive work plan. High attention to detail and customer‑service orientation. Professionalism and ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information. Other Specific Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Strong accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize, plan, and handle multiple tasks/demands simultaneously. Willingness to take initiative and be accountable. Proficiency in MS Office products (Word/Excel), internet and website navigation, and general computer savvy. Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Benefits
