Job Purpose The Parts Manager role is crucial in upholding our company values of Honoring Commitments, Creating Positive Experiences, Fostering Lifelong Learning, Exhibiting Pioneering Spirit, and Demonstrating Good Stewardship. You will oversee and direct all aspects of sales activity, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution of truck parts and accessories, ensuring excellence in customer service and operational efficiency, while achieving company expectations for sales volume and profitability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Honor Commitments
Achieve budgeted goals for sales volume, gross margin, inventory turns, and department profitability: Fulfill our commitment to meeting financial targets while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accountability.

Lead and motivate the counter staff to create sales opportunities: Foster a positive and customer-centric environment, ensuring that every interaction with our team leaves a lasting positive impression on our customers.

Demonstrate Good Stewardship
Monitor and control slow and non-moving stock levels within company guidelines: Exercise responsible stewardship of resources, optimizing inventory management practices to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
Utilize existing tools and collaborate with the centralized inventory control team: Ensure prudent use of resources and maintain an appropriate and efficient part inventory, demonstrating good stewardship of company assets.
Other Duties as Assigned
Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree and 6? years of related experience or a Bachelor's Degree and 3? years of related experience preferred. Non-degreed candidates with 10? years of progressive experience in heavy duty truck parts will be considered.
Demonstrated ability to manage people, processes and priorities.
Progressive thinker who embraces new ideas and implements change.
Basic computer skills required; experience with inventory systems, and electronic part catalogs preferred.
Dependable and reliable attendance.
Valid driver's license required.
