The Parts Manager role is crucial in upholding our company values. You will oversee and direct all aspects of sales activity, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution of truck parts and accessories, ensuring excellence in customer service and operational efficiency while achieving company expectations for sales volume and profitability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Honor Commitments: Achieve budgeted goals for sales volume, gross margin, inventory turns, and department profitability, fulfilling our commitment to meeting financial targets while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accountability. Create Positive Experiences: Lead and motivate the counter staff to create sales opportunities, fostering a positive and customer-centric environment, ensuring that every interaction with our team leaves a lasting positive impression on our customers. Foster Lifelong Learning: Develop individualized market development strategies, embracing continuous learning and innovation, adapting strategies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction while staying ahead of industry trends. Engage in all assigned learning modules, demonstrating a commitment to personal and professional development, embracing opportunities to expand knowledge and skills. Implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base, demonstrating initiative and creativity in driving growth and exploring new opportunities, embodying a pioneering spirit in the pursuit of excellence. Demonstrate Good Stewardship: Monitor and control slow and non-moving stock levels within company guidelines, exercising responsible stewardship of resources, optimizing inventory management practices to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. Utilize existing tools and collaborate with the centralized inventory control team, ensuring prudent use of resources and maintaining an appropriate and efficient part inventory, demonstrating good stewardship of company assets. Other Duties as Assigned: Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting business objectives. Associate degree and 6? years of related experience or a Bachelor’s Degree and 3? years of related experience preferred. Non-degreed candidates with 10? years of progressive experience in heavy duty truck parts will be considered. Demonstrated ability to manage people, processes and priorities. Progressive thinker who embraces new ideas and implements change. Basic computer skills required; experience with inventory systems, and electronic part catalogs preferred.
