Franklin Building Supply is a lumber and building material company that has been in business for more than 45 years. We have locations across Idaho and one in Nevada. We supply almost everything besides plumbing and electrical to build homes. Our focus is on serving professional home builders. We provide materials, install a wide range of products—including framing, overhead doors, insulation, gutters, siding, etc.—and manufacture some products including trusses, cabinets, doors, and granite countertops.

Duties and Responsibilities
Prioritize safety, quality, and professionalism throughout the administrative role.
Organize and review all job documents—floor plans, material information, and important jobsite information—in a timely and efficient manner; communicate any discrepancies or questions with the proper point of contact.
Coordinate and confirm deliveries of all materials needed for each job using strategic scheduling and the information provided; communicate clearly any conflicts or delays and provide supportive solutions.
Daily communicate job changes, delays, and revisions affecting production or scheduling while maintaining job progress updates; provide current, complete, and accurate information to all affected departments promptly.
Maintain all receipts, delivery tickets, or invoices, verifying accuracy; communicate any discrepancies, damage, inaccuracies, or shortages to the proper point of contact; label and store all products effectively with proper job identifiers per the schedule and SOP.
Provide clear, professional, and effective communication while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of each job.
Maintain organized office documents, resulting in job efficiencies.
Proactively communicate concerns that may impact job completion to the shop foreman, job PM, scheduling, and department manager.
Ensure material availability aligns with production schedules to prevent delays.
Sustain a clean and organized work environment.
Solicit and accept feedback from peers, other department leaders, and management.
Maintain a positive attitude, contributing to a positive work environment.
Effectively set and achieve goals, demonstrating a proactive and goal‑oriented mindset.
Think critically, plan effectively, and envision innovative paths forward while anticipating future challenges and opportunities.
Pay great attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
Open to continuous improvements, new software, and techniques.
Accept and adapt to modify planned daily schedules for unplanned urgencies.
Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to all areas as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
2+ years of office or administrative experience.
Valid current driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems.
Thrives under pressure and can juggle multiple tasks with finesse.
Aptitude to clearly and effectively communicate within other areas of the process (templates, shop foreman, sales, and design staff).
Demonstrate ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Self‑motivated, consistent, reliable, dependable.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Organization: Ability to manage tasks meticulously while staying organized and consistent.
Knowledge of safety protocols in manufacturing facilities.
Construction background—background in residential and commercial, new or remodel construction.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
Familiarity with manufacturing and installation processes.
High school diploma or equivalent.
