We are hiring an Exempt Field Operations Supervisor in Placer County, CA. The Role:
Operations Supervisor
responsible for day‑to‑day operations, facilitating internal communication between field staff and management, maintaining system status, scheduling, equipment and supply maintenance, and other operational support functions as assigned by the Manager of Operations.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Current California State Paramedic Certification, plus all licenses and certifications required by AMR for the position of Paramedic, including a minimum of two (2) years full‑time employment as a Paramedic.
Demonstrated skills and experience in evaluating, instructing and coaching all aspects of pre‑hospital care delivery.
Comprehensive understanding of operational protocols, policies and procedures.
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Provide direction and oversight to EMTs, Paramedics and other operational staff as necessary.
Maintain familiarity with and interpret operational policies and procedures.
Ensure quality field operations through daily contact, oversight, communication and evaluation.
Assess daily equipment, supply and vehicle needs; coordinate service with Materials Management.
Ensure ticket‑work is 100% reconciled daily with ticket‑work staff.
Ensure 100% of operational response exceptions are closed with appropriate action.
Respond to and resolve customer and staff inquiries and complaints consistently and timely.
Investigate events involving assigned units or staff, complete internal reports, notify leadership, counsel, reinforce policy and recommend training as necessary.
Share on‑call Coordinator duties as required.
Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
