Grade: ES12
Compensation: $54,400 - $72,000
Location: Maquoketa, IA
Schedule: Mon‑Fri 7 AM – 4 PM

Key Responsibilities
Provide superior customer service and on‑time service delivery for a dedicated account of 1–50 trucks and/or 1–50 drivers.
Manage all aspects of driver and office employee issues, including complaints, payroll, home time, and terminations, ensuring company policies are followed.
Maintain current fleet maintenance programs for tractors and trailers.
Develop and maintain trusted relationships with customers.
Report all shipments weekly and engage with USX departments (e.g., billing) to ensure smooth operations.
Review credit collection and aging reports to improve cash flow.
Coordinate equipment and driver availability to meet customer demands.
Forecast business surges by analyzing volume figures.
Control all document processes related to the account.
Solve issues that could negatively impact USX financially in consultation with leadership.
Participate in rotational on‑site on‑call duty during nights and weekends.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in logistics; minimum 3 years of leadership experience (coaching for higher performance preferred). Understanding of the distribution process required.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; diplomacy, negotiation, and active listening. Advanced computer skills, especially Excel. Excellent analytical thinking (“outside the box”). Knowledge of DOT hours‑of‑service regulations. Initiative and assertiveness.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements Normal office settings with possible rotational on‑call duty. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
