Job Title: Front Desk Lead

ExplorUS is seeking a Front Desk Lead to manage bookings, arrival, and guest relations for FIT and group tours. The role reports to the Front Desk Supervisor/Lodging Manager in the Lodging department. Base Pay Range

$19.00/hr – $21.00/hr Summary of Position

Effectively recruits, books, and manages tour groups and foreign international travelers (FITs and Groups) and works closely with other departments to provide extraordinary hospitality to all visitors and guests. Also responsible for achieving the company’s financial goals relating to the FITs and Groups business. Responsibilities

Represent the company professionally to all guests and visitors per company policy outlined in the Employee Handbook. Ensure accurate FIT bookings and email confirmations within 72 hours of receipt. Monthly monitor arrival listings for accuracy. Resolve complaints or disputes with FIT companies or tour groups. Process pre‑pays for FIT companies. Conduct revenue analysis of FITs and Groups each month and report to GM. Review contracts annually with FIT companies and present to GM for approval. Coordinate room blocks with lodging staff to ensure accuracy. Manage special projects such as auditorium reservations and food options. Process all payments accurately and follow up on discrepancies. Communicate upcoming events to managers. Produce invoices and payments for all FITs and Groups. Monitor social media and hospitality sites like TripAdvisor twice weekly and provide professional feedback. Provide monthly reports on guest comment cards. Other duties as assigned per duties checklist. Position Requirements

Positive and professional communication skills, written and verbal. Organized and detail‑oriented with analytical ability to recommend improvements. Remain calm in stressful situations and resolve issues. Team player. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally; stand on feet for up to 8 hours per day in a fast‑paced environment. May involve bending, twisting, lifting and squatting. Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent. Customer service or call center experience. Travel agent or tour operator experience. National park experience preferred. Job Details
