Overview
This position serves as the front office point of contact for business ancillary service locations and is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate responses to client requests. The individual is accountable for the clinical administrative functions of patient intake, scheduling, and registration, as well as clinic-based activities required to ensure accurate billing and claims.
Responsibilities
Manage the front desk through excellent customer service, multitasking across two simultaneous practice management systems
Facilitate patient scheduling, intake, and check‑in processes
Complete benefit verifications in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure charges and documentation are completed promptly and delivered to the client
Collect point‑of‑service payments such as copays
Maintain appropriate clinic supplies
Qualifications Minimum Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
1 or more years in an administrative position
Preferred Experience:
Previous health care office experience
Previous medical billing and coding experience
Knowledge of benefit verification and authorization
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Effective and professional communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Bilingual language skills preferred in some clinics
