Job Summary The Lab QA Regulatory Specialist ensures that Deaconess Clinic Labs are compliant with CAP, COLA, and CLIA regulations. This role provides oversight for laboratory accreditation, quality assurance, and non-laboratory based POC testing. Additionally, the coordinator manages the laboratory QA program, offers continuing education for staff, and orients new employees.
Key Responsibilities Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with CAP, COLA, and CLIA regulations.
Oversee COLA accreditation for Deaconess Clinic Lab-West, Gateway, Reo, and Downtown.
Supervise non-laboratory POC testing.
Manage the laboratory QA program, including data gathering, analysis, and meetings.
Provide continuing education opportunities for staff.
Lab QA Regulatory Specialist 28 Hours per week - Part Time
Qualifications At least 2 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
