Base Pay Range $90,000.00/yr – $180,000.00/yr
Position Summary The Sr. Manager – Content Programming will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the programming that fuels our item page content across Walmart’s digital catalog. This leader will oversee a team of Program Managers and collaborate closely with Private Brands, Merchandising and cross‑functional creative partners to support content creation and publishing at scale.

Apply insights and data to inform programming decisions that elevate item page experiences
Execute operational planning, workflow optimization, and design processes for scale

Communicate with precision and influence, demonstrating sound judgment while driving alignment among diverse stakeholders
Work in a high‑volume, high‑impact content environment that touches millions of customers
Organize, discipline, and manage concurrent workstreams with excellence
Help build processes that operate at Fortune 1 scale
You’ll Make an Impact By
Leading and developing a high‑performing team of Program Managers who coordinate intake, requirements, workflows, and execution across merchandise categories
Coaching and developing team members to elevate operational rigor, relationship management, and strategic thinking
Overseeing programming related to item page content across Walmart’s eCommerce site
Ensuring the seamless flow of information used to support content capture
Applying insights, partner feedback, and performance data to evolve programming approaches
Partnering with Private Brands, Item Content Studio, Item Enablement and Category Marketing to ensure content needs are identified, aligned, and executed
Managing discussions with Private Brands partners and influencing content and programming decisions through strong judgment and communication
Designing and improving processes that accelerate timelines, standardize outputs, and support scalable content creation and publishing
Collaborating with operational, tooling, and studio teams to support optimization of intake, tracking, and workflow systems
Leading programming efforts aligned to seasonal priorities, category storytelling, omnichannel experiences, and private brand initiatives
Ensuring programming execution supports business goals, enhances item page quality, and drives improved customer understanding and engagement
Setting an example for high‑quality delivery, KPI ownership, and consistent progress toward team goals
Presenting recommendations, insights, and programming updates at various leadership levels
You’ll Thrive In This Role If You Bring
8–12+ years of experience in content programming, merchandising operations, creative operations, or related content/marketing environments
Demonstrated leadership experience managing people and complex projects
Excellent communication, partnership, and influence skills, particularly with senior and cross‑functional teams
Strong judgment and the confidence to advocate for content decisions that support customer experience and private brand strategy
Expertise in operational planning, workflow design, and process optimization within high‑volume creative or content environments
Ability to think strategically while executing with precision and attention to detail
Experience using workflow or content management tools (Airtable, Asana, Jira, CMS platforms, etc.) is a plus

We drive strategy, workflow, and execution to ensure the online digital catalog reflects our highest brand and customer experience standards.
