Responsibilities
Provide administrative support and backup to the Academic Testing Center.
Provide superior customer service to test candidates and prospective candidates, including those who call or visit the Academic Testing Center; exhibiting excellent verbal skills in presenting information in person or by phone.
Administer exams by strictly adhering to guidelines and procedures set by the school or testing company.
Review candidate documents to confirm completeness.
Communicate with candidates on required documentation, testing procedures and policies, and answer questions about exam policies.
Requirements Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience in a professional office setting
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong observational and listening skills; ability to multitask in a fast‑paced team‑oriented setting.
Proficient knowledge of computers and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to meet yearly certification requirements for exam administration.
Excellent customer service, critical thinking, written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail; self‑motivated, independent, results‑oriented.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
Handling confidential materials and personal information.
Multiple concurrent tasks with constant interruptions; must prioritize quickly.
Standing for long periods, moving equipment, walking through rooms, and cleaning workstations.
Operating computer and peripheral equipment, copier, scanner, telephone, printers, security systems, metal detector wand, shredder.
Communication with customers and company representatives verbally and in writing.
Compliance with security and confidentiality requirements (FERPA, etc.).
