Compliance Manager Position Summary:
The Compliance Manager ensures that all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies are followed by developing programs, conducting audits, assessing risks, training staff, and reporting findings to management. Acting as a guardian of ethical and legal standards, the manager prevents violations, protects the organization from legal issues, and upholds business integrity.
Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and implement compliance policies, procedures, protocols, programs, preventative measures, and internal controls.
Direct, manage, and oversee internal audits, external audit pre‑inspections, and audits responding to non‑compliance reports.
Ensure audit findings are reasonable, justified, appropriate, and reported as required; provide remediation and corrective action instruction; ensure implementation and monitoring; maintain documentation.
Develop, implement, evaluate, and oversee compliance education and training programs.
Keep abreast of statutory and regulatory compliance requirement changes; disseminate information to relevant parties.
Review proposed legislation and regulations; respond to appropriate agencies and accreditation entities.
Prepare reports on compliance status, findings, and recommendations for improvement.
Oversee specific customer compliance programs, including Electrostatic Discharge Control, Foreign Object Debris Prevention, Moisture Sensitive Devices Handling, Declarations (Reach, RoHS, DFARS), UL/CSA and ISO audits, cybersecurity programs, and human rights policy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience as a compliance manager or in a similar position.
Proficiency in industry trends, laws, and regulations.
Outstanding analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Extremely organized with the ability to balance many competing priorities.
Experience in risk management or auditing.
Exposure to curating, executing, and monitoring compliance projects.
Strong communication, analytical, attention‑to‑detail, and leadership abilities.
Base pay range:
$80,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
Pay transparency:
A reasonable estimate of the annual pay for this position is $80,000–$85,000 per year. Compensation may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties.
