Position Summary
The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and updating records. This role ensures accurate reporting, supports continuous improvement, and collaborates across departments to optimize inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and perform daily cycle counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor and report inventory variances; document issues and adjust records as needed.
Track and report inventory and location accuracy trends monthly and year-to-date.
Manage "balanced-out" inventories impacted by artwork or material changes.
Use root cause analysis to prevent recurring inventory accuracy problems.
Optimize inventory control procedures and partner with IT to enhance systems.
Review slow-moving and obsolete inventory; work with cross-functional teams to reduce waste.
Conduct daily pallet counts and reconcile with Finance for accurate records.
Liaise with Accounting, Sales, and Customer Service to confirm customer inventories and pallet collections.
Monitor on-hand inventory of pallets, boxes, labels, and shrink sleeves; place orders as needed.
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Follow all food safety and cGMP processes and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Inventory Management preferred.
Minimum 2 years of inventory control experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
Experience in plastics and / or food packaging industry preferred.
Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
