Job Description As a Growth Strategy Senior Manager, you will be at the forefront of Advisory’s next chapter—helping to realize our vision for a more focused, growth‑oriented, and digitally enabled Advisory practice. Our strategy is clear: build a business tailored for the middle market and private equity, powered by talent, targeted acquisitions, and a go‑to‑market approach that leverages AI, data, and technology to deliver differentiated value for our clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading teams that deliver end‑to‑end solutions in priority industries (Technology, Higher Education, Life Sciences, Asset Management, Manufacturing, Not for Profit).
Driving growth through industry specialization, repeatable offerings, and client outcomes.
Championing digitization and operational excellence, supporting the firm’s move toward AI‑centric offerings.
Building and scaling new capabilities, collaborating across solution families, and contributing to a culture of innovation and commercial discipline.
Further responsibilities:
Industry Expertise & Strategic Insight: Apply deep expertise in at least one priority industry.
Solution Leadership: Lead teams in designing and delivering innovative solutions in growth strategy, customer acquisition & demand generation, or customer retention & experience.
Client Relationship Management: Manage multiple senior‑level client relationships as a trusted advisor.
Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, coach, and mentor advisory teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Operational & Project Management Excellence: Oversee multiple engagements/projects, ensuring operational excellence in planning, execution, monitoring, budget, resources, timelines, and risk.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in consulting, strategy, or advisory roles.
Demonstrated expertise in one or more priority industries.
Proven track record in solution leadership (growth strategy, customer acquisition, or retention).
Strong client relationship management and advisory skills.
Experience nurturing relationships and business development.
Experience leading and developing teams.
Advanced project management skills.
Subject‑matter or industry‑specific certifications preferred.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Salary Base salary ranges: Chicago $187,500–$312,500; New York $202,500–$337,500; Washington, DC $202,500–$337,500.
