Role And Responsibilities
Team Leaders are to maintain confidentiality of all information regarding associate performance and all other issues as directed by management.
Ensure that all new associates have adequate training in their assigned work areas before being left alone to complete a task.
Work directly with quality associates when problems occur to prevent substandard parts from being shipped.
Investigate and resolve inventory issues as they arise.
Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure all required maintenance activities are performed daily including replacing threaders for driver checks biweekly.
Team Leaders will be required to learn all jobs in their assigned work areas and operate lines when necessary.
Responsible for completion of all documentation within the operations of their area.
Continuous improvement in quality, safety, productivity, and delivery.
Provide continuous support for all associates.
Ensure daily production needs are met to meet the customer’s demands and communicate requirements to associates.
Maintain clear communication with customers regarding mutual expectations and take personal responsibility and accountability for correcting customer-service problems.
Ensure all associates are trained and following the proper labeling procedures.
Other duties as required by management.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior knowledge of production processes preferred.
Must have basic written communication skills.
Must have good problem solving, verbal and interpersonal skills.
