Description and Requirements

The Independent Software Vendor Business Development Manager is responsible for developing relationships and defining Lenovo's go-to-market strategy with key ISVs across targeted verticals to grow Lenovo's workstation SOW in North America. The primary focus is to grow Lenovo's presence in these ISV's driving them to be users and influencers of Lenovo solutions. As the lead, you will oversee all aspects of these solutions within the Lenovo workstation business unit and be the spokesperson/subject matter expert for this segment both within, and external to Lenovo. Responsibilities Include

Define the strategy and go to market plan to drive growth for the Lenovo workstation business within the defined ISVs. Develop product messaging and positioning, industry marketing, technical demonstrations, sales enablement, and competitive analysis tools. Assist marketing leads with their regional programs. Support sales leadership with their acquisition and retention strategies for Lenovo workstations solutions in key industries. Work with our Industry Managers to nurture and manage ISV relationships (e.g., ANSYS, Autodesk, Dassault Systems, etc.).

Drive partner co-marketing with ISVs to create awareness and leads Facilitate workstation certifications. Support regional ISV partner activity.

Work with Lenovo WW solution leaders to Identify key industry events and manage Lenovo presence at those events. Support sales opportunities with ISV and direct customer interaction. Assist in ISV proof of concepts with customers, prospects, and other technology partners. Basic Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years' experience in a global technical, marketing or product management role with ISVs. Workstation/server solution experience. Relationships with, and experience working with ISV solution providers. Preferred Qualifications

Strong virtual team/extensive cross-group coordination and collaboration. Exceptional strategic, customer focused, open & effective communication skills. Strong technical acumen and passion for learning new technologies. Self-starter who can manage ambiguity and chart a clear course in an environment of change. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills - English required. The base salary range budgeted for this position is $140,000 - $200,000.
