You will support procurement activities that protect national security by managing subcontract negotiations, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and driving procurement value.

Key Responsibilities

Work independently on government solicitations.

Prepare RFP/RFQ packages.

Evaluate proposals and quotations to support procurement decisions.

Conduct comprehensive price analysis.

Lead negotiations of subcontract agreements, including terms, conditions, and pricing.

Prepare required documentation for the subcontract file to ensure CPSR compliance.

Issue procurement actions including purchase orders, subcontracts, and modifications.

Monitor and maintain POs/subcontracts within the purchasing system.

Perform peer reviews of procurement files.

Liaise between subcontractor and project manager.

Identify and mitigate contract risks.

Manage close‑out procedures efficiently.

Work Environment

Location: Remote.

Travel: minimal 0‑20%.

Working Hours: Standard.

Required Qualifications

3‑5 years of experience in purchasing/subcontracts.

Federal Government/subcontracts experience.

B.S. / B.A. in Business Administration, Business Management, Contract Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Business Law.

Strong analytical reasoning skills and ability to interpret policies and regulations.

Effective communication and coordination with internal stakeholders and subcontractors.

Experience mitigating contractual and procurement risks, ensuring adherence to FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and CPSR compliance.

Strong negotiator with proven success in subcontract discussions.

Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

Desired Qualifications

Highly organized and systematic approach to task management.

Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Ability to work across program teams, finance, legal, and compliance departments to drive procurement success.

Experience with Deltek Costpoint.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
