Recruiting Manager - 8x Presidents Club / CEO Club My client, a well-respected civil litigation firm based in Manhattan Beach, is looking for an Associate Attorney.
Qualifications
2-7 years of litigation experience
Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities
Solid organization skills and the ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
Ability to learn quickly, communicate well, show initiative, and thrive in a demanding environment
Demonstrated interest in and commitment to working in a litigation setting
Prior coursework, training, or work experience in liability, consumer litigation, products liability, or employment law is a plus
Trial experience is a desired attribute
Responsibilities
Legal research and factual investigation
Drafting legal memoranda and all varieties of pleadings and motions
Coordinating with expert witnesses and consultants
Drafting strategic offensive discovery and responses to defensive discovery
Assisting with the preparation for depositions
Managing all phases of document review and production
Preparing for and trying cases
