Location:
California (remote flexibility with occasional in-office appearances – the firm has 11 CA offices throughout CA)
Compensation:
$100,000 – $275,000 base salary + bonus

About The Role
Our client, a national AmLaw 100 firm, seeks Healthcare Litigation Defense Attorneys in California. Attorneys in this role will focus exclusively on healthcare defense matters, including professional liability claims, regulatory defense, and general liability matters within the healthcare sector. The position offers remote work flexibility with occasional office appearances.
Key Responsibilities
Manage healthcare defense litigation matters from discovery through trial preparation.
Draft pleadings, motions, and other defense-focused legal documents.
Conduct legal research and factual analysis to support defense strategy.
Collaborate with senior defense attorneys and internal teams on healthcare matters.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other proceedings related to healthcare defense.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Litigation experience preferred, especially in healthcare defense or professional liability defense.
Strong analytical, research, and written/verbal communication skills.
Self‑motivated and able to manage multiple healthcare defense matters independently while collaborating with a team.
