Job Description
The Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) supports individuals in recovery from substance use disorders by offering encouragement, understanding, and hope. This role often uses lived experience to help others stay engaged in recovery and work toward long-term success. You will work with patients going through withdrawal & rehab, interacting with all medical and administrative personnel in our center.
What You’ll Do:
Provide support, encouragement, and motivation to individuals in recovery
Serve as a positive role model, mentor, and advocate
Share recovery education and connect clients to helpful resources
Help promote relapse prevention and long-term stability
Support a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment
Qualifications:
Minimum of 21 years of age
Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS)
Prior experience with recovery in a behavioral health facility (SMHRF or ICF) is ideal
Compassionate, reliable, and committed to helping others succeed
