Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced
Snowflake Architect
with a strong consulting background to lead the design, development, and implementation of Snowflake-based data platforms for our enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Snowflake and cloud data ecosystems, strong client-facing skills, and a track record of delivering scalable data architecture solutions across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design:
Architect end-to-end data solutions on Snowflake, including data ingestion, transformation, governance, and access control.
Client Engagement:
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into scalable Snowflake-based architectures.
Implementation Leadership:
Oversee the implementation of Snowflake solutions and guide technical teams across ETL/ELT, data modeling, and performance tuning.
Data Integration:
Work with various data sources (structured, semi-structured) and third-party tools (e.g., Fivetran, dbt, Informatica).
Best Practices:
Establish Snowflake development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure data security, compliance, and cost optimization.
Workshops & Presentations:
Lead workshops, PoCs, and technical presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
Mentorship:
Guide and mentor junior team members on Snowflake and data architecture best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with
Snowflake , including data modeling, performance tuning, and data sharing features.
Proven experience working in a
consulting environment , managing client expectations, and delivering solutions across industries.
Solid understanding of
cloud platforms
(AWS/GCP/Azure) and experience with cloud-native services.
Proficiency in
SQL ,
Python , and
ETL/ELT tools
(e.g., dbt, Matillion, Informatica).
Experience integrating Snowflake with
BI tools
like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Familiarity with
data governance ,
data quality , and
security frameworks .
Preferred Qualifications:
Snowflake certification (e.g.,
SnowPro Advanced: Architect )
Experience with
data lakes ,
data mesh , or
modern data stack
concepts.
Prior experience in pre-sales, proposal building, or stakeholder alignment.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
