Job Details We are seeking a skilled Transactional Real Estate/Estate Planning Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions and estate planning, with a commitment to providing high-quality legal services to our clients.
Responsibilities
Real Estate Transactions
Review, draft, and negotiate real estate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, lease contracts, deeds, and financing agreements.
Conduct due diligence on properties, including title searches and survey reviews.
Provide legal counsel on real estate matters, including acquisitions, leasing, financing, and property management.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations.
Represent clients in court if legal disputes arise during real estate transactions.
Estate Planning
Consult with clients to understand their estate planning needs and goals.
Draft and review estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
Advise clients on tax implications and financial considerations related to their estate.
Assist in the administration of trusts and estates, including the probate process.
Stay updated with changes in estate laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate transactions and estate planning.
Strong understanding of real estate and estate planning laws and regulations.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
