Coriell Institute for Medical Research is seeking a Client Support Associate to join our customer service department.

The

Associate, Client Support

is a service-oriented professional who is a vital part of our Customer Service Team. This position works within the Customer Service Team and is responsible for the day-to-day operations to fulfill customer requests and inquiries.

These responsibilities include assisting with the sale and distribution of biomaterials to national and international clients within the scientific community. The Associate, Client Support also ensures the Organization is adhering to internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory agency guidelines.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

Assist in reviewing new customer accounts

Review incoming customer orders

Save and apply material transfer agreements/assurance forms

Compile and review paperwork for processed orders

End of day closeout and invoice generation

Assist customers via e-mail and phone outreaches

And other projects and tasks, as assigned.

Experience: 1‑2 years of experience working within a customer service environment is required. Experience working within a call center environment is strongly preferred and will be prioritized.

Education: Associate degree or higher within the fields of business, communications, or a similar field is strongly preferred.

Strong communication skills and attention to detail are required for this role. Excellent written communication and grammar skills are required, especially for those without a bachelor’s degree.

This position requires the ability to respond professionally in a fast‑paced environment, work effectively within a team environment, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to overcome obstacles.

Salary & Compensation: The starting wage for this role starts at $43,000 per year; however, the final salary will be commensurate with experience.

This role will be eligible to participate in Coriell's Health & Welfare benefits, receive an employer‑paid long‑term disability plan and basic life insurance policy, and will be enrolled in a 401(a) plan that receives a 7% monthly employer contribution (Base Salary). The role receives an annual allotment of 20 days of PTO, 7 paid sick days, and up to 10+ paid holidays.
