Associate Manager, ECommerce & Marketplace Operations
The Associate Manager, Ecommerce & Marketplace Operations is responsible for the daily operations and optimization of our online sales channels including our owned ecommerce platform and third‑party marketplace partners. The role will partner closely with both internal teams and external partners to deliver a best‑in‑class shopping experience, ensuring accurate information, appealing imagery and product descriptions, and by leveraging new technologies and functionalities to enhance the shopping journey. The ideal candidate is an energized and collaborative team player with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive about improving the customer experience and driving conversion.
Key Responsibilities Owned Ecommerce Site Operations
Partner with merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to set digital operations strategy and roadmap to enhance the customer experience and improve operational efficiency
Execute the daily site operations including product uploads, ensuring accuracy across imagery, descriptions, pricing, and categorization
Conduct ongoing PDP and category audits to improve clarity, navigation, and user experience
Partner with internal stakeholders, 3rd party vendors and development agency to implement new functionalities and solutions to enhance the customer experience
Assist in conversion optimization initiatives, A/B testing ideation and execution, and site analytics investigation
Monitor and develop actionable recommendations based on website KPIs
Coordinate sample handling for shoots; assist onsite when needed
Marketplace Operations & Growth
Maintain and optimize product listings across marketplace partners
Liaise with feed management providers to ensure accurate data mapping and inventory syncing
Monitor pricing and implement promotional and markdown strategies
Track and report marketplace performance weekly/monthly with actionable recommendations to improve performance
Support expansion into new marketplace partners and regions
Recommend replenishment and inventory strategies based on performance
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve marketplace-related issues
Partner with warehouse operations and customer service to support smooth order fulfillment and returns
Monitor and respond to customer feedback and product reviews to identify improvement opportunities
Qualifications
Must have an Undergraduate Degree from an accredited university
Must have 3+ years experience in ecommerce operations or marketplace management
Must have demonstrated experience with Shopify; experience working with marketplaces like Farfetch, Amazon, and Moda Operandi preferred
Must have demonstrated strong understanding of product setup processes and ecommerce workflows
Must have demonstrated strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups
Must have demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate into recommendations
Must be detail-oriented with strong organization and communication skills
Must have ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
