Procurement Specialist
to join its Procurement team at the New York offices.

Responsibilities
Execute category management strategies to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and expand a resilient supplier base through proactive global and domestic sourcing.
Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to strengthen supply continuity, reduce risks, and enhance competitive advantage.
Lead formal Request for Information (RFI), Proposal (RFP), and Quote (RFQ) processes, while negotiating pricing and contractual terms to secure best‑in‑class agreements.
Draft, review, and manage comprehensive procurement contracts in alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to resolve supplier quality and delivery issues using preventive and corrective action methodologies.
Oversee Procure‑to‑Pay activities, monitor budgets, report savings and compliance metrics, and ensure strict adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar procurement role.
Knowledge of design, furniture, or similar sectors.
Proven expertise in negotiation, contracting, purchase order issuance, and vendor performance management.
Proficiency with major e‑procurement and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Quickbooks, Dynamics) and strong competency in financial tracking tools.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
