Overview The Project Executive for Integrated Solutions – Delivery is responsible for contract execution, client satisfaction, business development, contract negotiations with vendors/subcontractors, employee development, financial performance of large or multiple projects, and promotion of company culture.
Responsibilities
Management of all project team members (Project Administrator, Project Accountant, Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, and Superintendents), potentially over multiple projects and geographies.
Champion project safety and risk management for the company.
Mentor and train Project Managers and Superintendents for career growth and development.
Manage, with the team(s), the overall project financials and be able to communicate them to leadership.
Inform Vice President of employee development and of any performance issues.
Full understanding of contract terms and conditions and ability to make informed decisions to resolve risks and business issues.
Lead development of subcontract and purchase order exhibits to ensure complete and accurate buy‑out of scopes of work.
Work with the Project Manager(s) and Superintendent(s) on schedule development of the project(s) with a detailed plan and workflow to meet the energy savings goal.
Actively monitor and manage the status and timeliness of change management on the project(s).
Actively monitor and manage the status and timeliness of issuing, negotiating and collecting progress billings.
Ensure accurate monthly reporting and lead monthly project meetings with the project team(s).
Work with the Project Manager(s) to ensure and verify accurate financial forecasting.
Actively manage and resolve open risk issues on the project(s).
Key point of contact as the project leader for the client on the project(s).
Accountable for project completion per the energy and financial goals.
Build and maintain strong customer relations with general contractor, subcontractors, vendors and owner to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assure all company policies and procedures are implemented on the project(s).
Build effective relationships with vendors, subcontractors and clients.
Actively seek out ways to participate in the industry and community.
Serve as a role model to teams and promote ethical, professional behaviours.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8‑10 years of verifiable experience in large ($20M+) commercial construction (higher education, healthcare, advanced technology, life sciences, office buildings, etc.).
Design‑build experience is a plus.
4‑year degree in Construction Management (or related field) and applicable field work experience in the company core markets.
Demonstrated leadership skills and willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships.
Ability to manage complex situations that may include ambiguity and conflict resolution.
Manage outcomes by being resourceful and maintaining focus on safety, financial performance and client expectations.
Experience with pull planning and Last Planner System.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Procore or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar).
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Detail‑oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Versed in the industry and company competitors.
Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
Travel Requirements
5‑10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.
Physical Activities
Climbing stairs.
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Environmental Conditions
Quiet environment.
Physical Demands
Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Pay Range USD $147,873.00 – USD $197,367.50 per year.
