Role and Impact:

Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks, Integrated Baseline Review (IBR), and internal EVM reporting.

Set up and maintain cost control system; monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost‑schedule control systems.

Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and government cost‑control guidelines.

Support Control Account Managers (CAMs) in the Variance Analysis Reporting (VAR) process.

Lead the Baseline Change Control process by working with CAMs, schedulers and other staff to document and implement change requests into the cost management system (Cobra).

Work with CAMs to prepare budgets, schedules, and forecasts for contract work; assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.

Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.

Perform monthly, quarterly and annual Estimates at Completion (EACs).

Set up, prepare and follow up with all required financial reports.

Communicate effectively with leadership and customers regarding financial status, metrics and deliverables.

Participate in knowledge transfer and best‑practice sharing with peers.

Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.

Establish a budget/EAC, analyze capital expenditure and prepare reports for programs.

Basic Qualifications:

Level 2 – Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant business‑management/finance experience OR Master’s degree with 1+ year of relevant experience.

Level 3 – Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience in cost management, finance management, or pricing & estimating.

Experience successfully managing and producing data with strict deadlines.

Experience with financial analysis and/or reporting.

Earned Value Management System (EVM) experience.

Strong PC skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

Strong analytical ability.

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

EVM experience related to DCAA and DCMA compliance.

Experience with cost management software including Deltek Cobra.

Experience with scheduling software including Oracle Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.

Experience with materials‑planning and management software including Deltek Costpoint and/or SAP.

Aerospace/Defense industry experience.

Salary Range:

Primary Level: $65,500.00 – $98,300.00

Secondary Level: $81,400.00 – $122,000.00
