Job Description Summary The Patient Services Specialist (PSS) engages in clerical duties associated with a medical clinic. The PSS job is divided into “stations,” each having a distinct set of duties that typically are performed by a single employee. In addition to the routine duties of the station they are assigned to, each PSS is required to assist co‑workers by performing any PSS duty at any time. All new PSS employees will learn and perform all front‑office station duties. The role demands strong copying, editing, attention to detail, and multitasking, with the ability to meet time‑sensitive priorities and adapt to changing demands.

Education High School Diploma / GED required.

Previous Experience

Experience in the healthcare field is highly preferred.

Attention to detail with strong ability to multitask.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of personalities.

Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy required.

Travel: 26‑50% of time.

Standard Core Workdays/Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
