JOB TYPE & LOCATION Full‑time with eligibility for full benefits. Remote — the position may require travel; the base of operations can be anywhere in the Continental U.S.

COMPENSATION Base salary $120,000–$150,000 per year, plus commission and expenses. Final compensation will be competitive for the market and negotiated upon offer.

POSITION SUMMARY The Business Development Representative supports company growth by identifying potential business opportunities, discovering, and pursuing leads, and engaging in client outreach. Responsibilities include developing proposals, building client relationships, and executing sales plans for specific accounts, converting leads into loyal customers. High energy and effective communication skills are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze market trends, competitors, and potential growth areas.

Identify new clients, markets, or service opportunities.

Build strong ties with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Create plans for assigned existing and new account growth.

Develop proposals and foster contract negotiations.

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and operational Service teams.

Track and manage qualified leads and prospects (requires CRM use).

Attend industry events.

Conduct daily lead research.

Develop and deliver presentations per company guidelines.

Monitor contract execution and provide feedback to management.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Strategic thinking and analytical skills.

Strong business acumen and negotiation ability.

Initiative, self-confidence, and a positive attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS

Five to fifteen years in the Energy Industry.

Internal and external communication skills.

Willingness to travel 50%–75%.

Preferred: Sales or Business Development certifications.

Preferred: Specific experience in Construction Management and Inspection Services (Midstream, Transmission, Distribution).

Preferred: Experience with CRM software such as HubSpot.
