Estimator
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team. The Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project costs and preparing detailed estimates for commercial construction and light industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in big box retail construction and a strong understanding of the general contracting process.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze blueprints and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial construction projects, including light industrial and big box retail.
Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information and clarify project specifications.
Review and assess bid proposals and contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and quality materials.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an estimator in the commercial construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Benefits
$90,000 - $115,000 base salary
