Roadway Engineer / Project Manager
Location: Raleigh or Charlotte, NC.
Dewberry is seeking a Roadway Engineer/Project Manager in our Raleigh or Charlotte, NC office. This is an excellent career opportunity to join a top Transportation Design firm. We are seeking a candidate that will have the opportunity to grow and strengthen our transportation design practice in North Carolina.
Responsibilities
Project management of Transportation design projects.
Supervision of staff and document production.
Development and monitoring of project budgets and schedules.
Assisting with and collaboration with team members on the marketing of new projects.
Interfacing with clients.
Collaborating with other Dewberry offices on design projects.
Required Skills & Experience
BS degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
4-10 years of progressive experience in the design of highways and roads.
Experience can include development of traffic management plans, work zone traffic control plans, and signing and pavement marking plans.
NC PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Experience with state DOT and Municipal projects preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Task management experience.
