Overview The Quality Engineering Supervisor leads a team focused on inspection, testing, and continuous improvement to ensure Hoshizaki products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. This role is critical in preventing defects, driving root‑cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions across the manufacturing process.
Location 101 Green Valley Blvd, Griffin, GA 30224
Schedule Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Occasional Fridays required.

Responsibilities & Key Performance Indicators
Supervise quality inspectors and ensure all testing and inspection procedures are followed.
Analyze defects, VOC feedback, and production data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
Develop or refine testing methods, inspection tools, and quality processes to prevent recurring issues.
Coordinate with suppliers on quality deviations and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Interpret engineering drawings and technical data to support accurate inspections and root‑cause analysis.
Reduce defects and achieve targeted Corrective Requests (CRs).
Ensure timely completion of assigned internal defect‑reduction projects.
Maintain team performance and KPI achievement rates.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, or related Engineering field, or equivalent experience.
1–3 years of experience in manufacturing quality control, engineering, or a similar technical environment.
Supervisory or team‑lead experience in engineering or quality roles.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
Proficient computer skills, including Excel, charts, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
Familiarity with quality tools and processes (8D problem solving, defect analysis).
Knowledge of ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, VSM).
Skilled in using inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc.).
Confident, personable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in metal fabrication or commercial equipment manufacturing environments.
Prior experience improving or developing testing and inspection methods.
Background working with suppliers on quality deviations and corrective actions.
Continuous improvement mindset with ability to lead cross‑functional problem‑solving discussions.
