Manage the GPS Department including GPS equipment inventories, purchases, etc. Create and/or procure site models for use with GPS controls systems on project sites. Project site setup including base station setup and localization of the area for use with GPS enabled heavy equipment. Generate detailed earthwork, utility, and E&S control take-offs based on an accurate reading of blueprints, geotechnical reports, requests for proposals and related documents and transfer data into HCSS HeavyBid software for review with the team. Correspond with clients, customers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and other entities as necessary to meet project requirements and fulfill role as GPS Coordinator. Review bid package documentation, plans and proposal specifications to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate for RFP's, RFI's and subcontractor quotes. Work within our Delmarva family as a valued member of the Management Team. Qualifications
Experience with Trimble GPS Systems Including Machine Control Proficiency with Trimble Business Center Proficiency with Agtek Earthwork 4D Proficiency with AutoCAD Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Including Project Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task a variety of projects/tasks simultaneously. Read and scale civil engineering plans. Understand the importance of quality and accuracy. Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in order to meet project deadlines. Willing to work to meet project deadlines. Additional Information
