Construction company seeks a Project Superintendent to oversee water and wastewater treatment plant construction in the Central, Florida metro area. This Project Superintendent position requires hands‑on leadership of field crews performing self‑performed concrete work, underground piping systems, and mechanical equipment installation on municipal and industrial treatment facilities. The successful Project Superintendent will manage daily operations, enforce safety protocols, and coordinate subcontractors on multi‑million‑dollar water infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities — Project Superintendent

Monitor jobsite safety compliance and administer safety policies to maintain OSHA standards on water and wastewater construction sites

Supervise daily field operations including self‑performing concrete pours, underground utility installation, and mechanical equipment placement

Coordinate permits, regulatory inspections, and subcontractor activities for treatment plant and line work projects

Manage project schedules, manpower allocation, equipment resources, and material inventory to meet deadlines and budgets

Maintain field documentation including daily reports, progress photographs, as‑built drawings, and quantity reporting for water/wastewater projects

Qualifications — Project Superintendent

Minimum 3-5 years supervising water or wastewater treatment plant construction projects required

Proven experience managing self‑performing cast‑in‑place concrete, piping systems, and mechanical equipment installation

Strong leadership and communication skills to direct craft workers and coordinate with project stakeholders

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for project documentation

Current OSHA 10‑hour certification, First Aid/CPR, and competent person training in trenching, scaffolds, confined space, and fall protection

Preferred Qualifications — Construction Superintendent

OSHA 30‑hour certification or SWPPP Inspector credentials

Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering

Track record completing multi‑million‑dollar water/wastewater projects on schedule and within budget

Experience with design‑build or construction management delivery methods

Physical Requirements — Project Superintendent

Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions including heat, humidity, and rain

Frequent standing, walking, and climbing on active construction sites

Capability to visit multiple project sites throughout Central Florida region

Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds

Valid driver's license required for travel between jobsites
