Pay Range: $35hr - $37hr Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician / RF Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, calibrating, and assembling avionics and RF electronic equipment. This role involves working from schematics, drawings, diagrams, and test procedures to diagnose issues, ensure equipment functionality, and support RF testing and tuning activities. Responsibilities

Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate avionics and RF electronic equipment. Diagnose and analyze technical issues using drawings, schematics, diagrams, customer specifications, and test procedures. Document test results and identified issues accurately. Construct, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment used for RF testing and tuning. Ensure proper functionality of units under test and test equipment. Use methodical and logical reasoning to resolve complex technical issues. Identify discrepancies during testing and recommend corrective actions. Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies, sub-assemblies, and end products. Transport materials weighing up to 30 lbs. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as needed. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, or post-secondary/Associate degree with at least 2 years of related experience. Working knowledge of electronic test equipment. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and Bills of Material. Understanding of electronic theory related to RF transmission, receiver circuits, and analog and digital circuitry. Ability to troubleshoot RF and digital circuits to the component level. Ability to perform calibration of RF circuitry and related equipment. Experience using signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and RF test equipment. Electrical background at the component level. Good hand-eye coordination, including work under a microscope. Ability to work in a team-based environment and interact effectively with support team members. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Experience

6+ years of relevant experience required, or Associate degree with 2+ years of related experience. Preference for candidates with extended hands-on RF or electronics testing experience. Skills

RF and digital circuit troubleshooting. Equipment calibration and testing. Mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly. Advanced schematic interpretation and fault analysis. Documentation and quality-focused testing practices. Continuous improvement mindset. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Qualification and Education

High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Electronics or related technical field preferred.
