Position Summary This team member will serve as a Quality Engineer (QE) providing critical support to the IFPC (Indirect Fire Protection Capability) ground‑based weapon system. The role involves quality engineering technical support utilizing skills in development, manufacturing, and/or sustainment of weapons systems.
Position duties include leading and/or participating in:
Quality management systems and assessments
Technical reviews and supply chain management
Production line validation and factory acceptance testing
Technical data package development and environmental stress screening
Statement of work input, requirement development, and Acceptance Test Plan development
First Article Testing, inspection and test equipment validation
Nonconforming materiel management, root cause and failure analyses
Corrective actions, defect tracking and trend analysis
Statistical process control and critical characteristics management
QE Materiel Release statements
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required)
Active Secret Clearance (required)
15+ years of related experience (required)
Some travel required
