Job Summary:
Delaware Valley Paving is seeking a skilled and safety‑conscious Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, particularly excavators, in a variety of job‑site conditions. You’ll be responsible for digging, grading, trenching, and site preparation work in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
Operate excavators to complete construction and paving‑related tasks.
Excavate trenches, foundations, and backfill as required.
Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes.
Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines.
Requirements
Proven experience operating excavators or other heavy equipment.
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
OSHA certification is a plus.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
Strong understanding of site safety practices and procedures.
