Where is the work On‑site
(5 days)
What You Will Do
Commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications links, end‑to‑end testing, troubleshooting, and servicing on assigned projects.
Documenting point‑to‑point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close‑out requirements.
Represent the company as the direct customer contact and serve as the primary service provider on site, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems.
Coordinate with team leader and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on‑site installation and repairs, forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on‑site work.
Keep current on Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
Enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company‑issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions.
Display team effort and dedication by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weeks as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays.
What You Will Bring
High School Diploma or equivalent required; typically at least 3‑5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls. Technical school or formal training preferred.
Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computer devices (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
Previous experience with DDC controls system preferred.
Additional Requirements And Environmental Exposure
Safe and legal vehicle operation with seat belt.
Wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness and safety boots.
Twist the trunk of body 90° in each direction.
Squat and touch floor with both hands.
Reach hands over head.
Stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods, routinely up to 4 hours.
Regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling and climbing ladders.
Regularly lift and move up to 10 lbs., often 40 lbs., occasional >40 lbs.
Safely use ladder with 375 lb. total weight limit while carrying equipment of 50 lbs. or less.
Maneuver confined access areas (30” vertical x 45” horizontal).
Routinely access rooftops with extension and/or fixed ladders at heights 15′–20′, occasionally up to 50+ ft.
Exposure to variable weather, moving mechanical parts, heights, electrical shock risk, noise, and other environmental conditions.
This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
Compensation Base Pay Range : $24‑55 /hr.
