The
Plant Operator
is responsible for collecting and analyzing samples throughout the Ethanol Process, including Milling, Cook, Fermentation, Evaporation, Distillation/Dehydration, Centrifuges/Dryers, and Water Treatment. The role will report to the Board Operator and Lead Operator and provide analysis that is not in operating specification so changes to the process can be made. The Plant Operator will be trained to handle and mix various chemicals added to the process, learn process flows throughout the plant, and assist other team members in trouble‑shooting. The Plant Operator will also be trained to operate the plant from the Distributive Control System and will work as part of a four‑member crew. Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Previous related plant work experience preferred Ability to work successfully in a team environment Ability to follow direction and Standard Operating Procedures in a safe manner Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English Preferred Qualifications
6 months experience in a similar position within an ethanol plant Seniority level
