Plant Operator

The Plant Operator is responsible for daily operations of the facility's central energy plant, and main plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Utilizing a working knowledge of boilers, chillers and other plant equipment, the Plant Operator ensures the plant consistently runs efficiently, safely, and smoothly. Responsibilities include: Implementing strategies to drive continuous improvement and maintain model operation Planning, organizing, directing, and running optimum day-to-day operations Creating work schedules, developing maintenance schedules, and mentoring general maintenance technicians Adhering to processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity Increasing equipment efficiency, capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs Maintaining current quality standards to complete equipment repairs and renovations Maintaining inventory of plant assets, maintenance tools, and supplies Qualifications include: Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree Be a part of an organization that invests in you!
