Product Engineer - Manufacturing - Somersworth, NH
Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr – $120,000.00/yr
The Product Engineer will play a key role in product development and process improvement, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and efficient manufacturing processes. This position requires strong technical skills, project management experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities
Lead new product development from concept through launch, including feasibility analysis and planning.
Apply project management principles to ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, including tooling and equipment requirements.
Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using SolidWorks.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to source materials and ensure compliance with specifications.
Support seamless transition from design to production, providing technical guidance as needed.
Utilize ERP systems for product data management and scheduling.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve technical issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to support innovation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or product development.
Proficient in SolidWorks and familiar with ERP systems.
Strong project management and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
