The Engineering Manager focuses on developing and implementing strategies for plastic injection molding, secondary processes, and automation. It combines technical expertise with project management to optimize workflows, improve scalability, and ensure manufacturing processes meet business and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimize internal production equipment and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to define requirements for new and transfer programs.
Oversee integration of equipment and machine setups into existing systems.
Evaluate and manage third‑party solutions or custom-built equipment.
Lead manufacturing engineering aspects of key programs from concept to completion.
Identify process gaps and implement automation and efficiency improvements.
Mentor and lead a team of engineers and technicians.
Maintain documentation and reporting for programs, risks, and performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and industry regulations.

Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
7 years of experience in plastics process engineering, with 3 years in a leadership role.
Expertise in injection molding, tooling, and automation systems.
Strong project management skills and familiarity with tools like SolidWorks, Jira, or MS Project.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred: Experience with ERP systems and automated production environments.
