Job Description We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor in Training to work onsite alongside a supervisor with a full maintenance team. This role will require future flexibility to transfer to another community as needed.

In this position you will manage and coordinate the activities of a service team to ensure that all upkeep, inventory, and repair of grounds and buildings of the property are completed efficiently. You will work directly with the team on day‑to‑day maintenance duties and will supervise all in‑house and vendor work.

Our maintenance team diagnoses problems and performs repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural work, and appliances. You will schedule work orders, supervise on‑call responsibilities, and ensure the team follows professional maintenance practices, quality control, and company policies.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate activities of the service team.

Ensure all upkeep, inventory, and repair of grounds and buildings are completed efficiently.

Diagnose and repair issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural work, and appliances.

Schedule and supervise all in‑house and vendor work.

Share on‑call duties with other team members.

Apply professional maintenance practices and quality control procedures to maximize rents and maintain high occupancy levels.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay

– starting at $25 per hour depending on experience.

On‑Call Bonus

– $150 per week plus an additional $150 per holiday on‑call bonus.

Quarterly Bonus

– potential of $1,110 based on performance of property and team.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of trade‑related experience with at least 1 year of hands‑on apartment maintenance lead, assistant, or supervisory experience.

Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, interior/exterior maintenance, and carpentry.

EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal).

Hands‑on HVAC repair experience required.

Computer skills: ability to use business software to assign and manage work orders, schedule, order supplies, and communicate via email.

Willingness to share on‑call responsibilities with other team members.

Valid driver’s license, transportation, and tools required.

DMV and background/criminal checks will be conducted.
