Job Details
Pay Range:
$21/hr – $23/hr (MT/CNA Combo)
Pay Range (CNA):
$17/hr – $20/hr
Openings are in our Assisted Living Unit.
Paid vacation.
Free meal each shift.
Certification & Qualification Requirements
Must be licensed CNA in North Carolina (verifiable via online registry).
Must be licensed Medication Aide (verifiable via online registry).
Must provide certificate of completion of the 10‑hour, 5‑hour or 15‑hour Medication Technician Certification course (certification provided after 90 days of solid employment).
First Aid and CPR certification (if required).
Have completed Nursing Assistant course (State approved, if required).
Must be 21 years of age (or meet state requirements).
Daily Responsibilities as a Medication Technician
Observe residents for changes in condition and report to supervisor.
Assist residents with simple requests as needed.
Document and report changes in condition.
Provide medication set‑up and assistance.
Log medications from pharmacies, verify physician’s orders, and communicate any concerns.
Track all medications and re‑order as needed.
Track resident vital signs, diabetic testing and/or insulin injection, ambulation, etc.
