Operations Accountant
Join BrightView Landscapes as an Operations Accountant. You will oversee and optimize financial activities, ensuring integrity of financial information and compliance with internal processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Organize and direct month‑end close process across Markets and Branches.
Enforce and maintain internal controls at Branch and Market level.
Oversee Branch and Market accounting and working capital, including billing, accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, prepaids, accruals, and fixed assets.
Provide training and coaching to Branch teams and support VPGM & Regional VP Finance.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
Minimum 1 year accounting experience preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with GAAP and managing month‑end close process for a similar‑sized market/business.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
High proficiency in Consolidation ERPs (Oracle and OneStream a plus) and Excel for financial analysis.
Physical Demands
Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment.
Position is sedentary; must remain in a stationary position for majority of time.
Operates in an office environment and requires in‑person presence.
Work Environment
Professional office environment with collaborative and dynamic team setting requiring in‑person presence.
