Position Description Supports all levels of the organization through preparation and analysis of financial information.
Essential Functions
Perform financial analyses at the project and operating unit levels: program budget estimates; rate impact analyses; project revenue and fee analyses.
Understand and apply ATI's cost‑methodologies.
Maintain and monitor program budgets per established guidelines and associated contractual requirements, and advise on any variances.
Review contractual authorizations and modifications as required and update the project‑costing accounting system (Costpoint).
Review purchase requisitions, vendor invoices, and bills for accuracy per ATI guidelines.
Prepare internal financial management performance reports and external customer financial deliverables as required.
Verify and edit existing reports from Costpoint, TM1, and CER and future reporting tools.
Prepare and review government and commercial cost proposals for existing programs as assigned, utilizing established cost and pricing methodologies.
Calculate accruals and provide monthly cost allocation support as assigned in support of accounting month‑end.
Maintain and document department policy and procedures and desk guides.
Additional Responsibilities
Identify and implement process improvements making the organization more effective and efficient.
Interface with contracting staff and management, providing costing analysis and guidance as required.
Perform subcontractor indirect rate reviews.
Special projects as assigned (e.g., net working capital, cash flow, public support calculation, 990 tax return, etc.).
Collect, verify, and compile data for the annual financial plan and rate projections as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus two or more years of related experience or a Master's degree plus one or more years of related experience.
Exceptional computer skills, with an emphasis on the Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptionally strong analytical skills.
Experience working as a member of a team, as well as individually, to accomplish goals.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proven success working under pressure to meet deadlines, which may require extra effort over normal working hours.
Ability to serve external and internal customers and appropriately prioritize tasks.
Ability to read and interpret contracts.
Deltek, CostPoint experience preferred.
