We are hiring a
Revenue Accountant
at Soni to support accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606. The role involves reviewing contracts, preparing revenue schedules and analyses, managing gas volume entries, and supporting monthly close.
Base pay range $79,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of revenue accounting experience, ideally closer to 5
Background in oil & gas or midstream energy sector required if no CPA/public experience
Strong understanding of GAAP, particularly ASC 606
Proven ability to build out or improve accounting processes
High level of accountability, initiative, and adaptability
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
Experience with NetSuite and/or Quorum preferred
Preferred Skills
Gas volume entry and energy revenue accounting
CPA or CPA-eligible (not required but a plus)
Public accounting background or technical accounting exposure
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Compensation $79,000 - $110,000
